“ Our waiter was amazing! The food was absolutely spectacular! The breakfast choices were hard to pick from, I wanted it ALL! The coffee hit the spot. The grits were creamy, and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. My son loved his pancakes and eggs! The chicken was SO DELICIOUS it made me extremely nostalgic for my great grandmother. There was nice music playing in the background, and the atmosphere was inviting. #Restaurant #Breakfast #Chicken #Food #Memories #GoodTimes ”

“ If you’re looking for a soul-satisfying, belly-filling, tastebud-blessing meal, look no further than The Breakfast Spot — a Black woman-owned gem that serves up love, flavor, and Southern comfort on every plate. From the moment you walk in, the warm, welcoming vibe wraps around you like a hug from your favorite auntie. The smell alone will have you weak in the knees — butter, syrup, seasoned perfection, and pure nostalgia. Now let’s talk food. The pancakes? Fluffy clouds of golden joy. The eggs? Cooked just the way you like them — soft, scrambled, or over-easy with love. The home fries are crispy, seasoned, and unforgettable, and the grits? Creamy, smooth, and soul-soothing — exactly how grits should be. But let me get to the real star of the show: THE FRIED CHICKEN. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best damn fried chicken I’ve had since my great-grandmother's Sunday dinners. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, perfectly seasoned down to the bone. It's not just chicken — it’s a memory, a celebration, a homecoming. This place is more than just breakfast — it’s culture, heritage, and heart on a plate. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Breakfast Spot is an absolute must-visit. Support this incredible Black woman-owned business and treat yourself to a meal you won’t forget. You’ll leave full, happy, and planning your next visit before you even hit the door. ”
“ I was visiting Greensboro for a graduation! Found this spot on google and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was absolutely delicious! The host was very welcoming! Before arriving I read the review about the plates and plastic ware, but it had no bearing on the quality of food! I recommend this spot to all the locals! I would be there every Saturday morning if I lived in the city! ”
“ I couldn't even leave the parking lot without writing this review!! From the customer service, peaceful atmosphere, and exceptionally delicious meal, this restaurant is a place to visit. I have been looking for new breakfast/brunch spots in Greensboro, and this restaurant was truly an unexpected surprise. It is a hidden gem amongst breakfast spots (no pun intended) in the Greensboro area. We ordered the vanilla bean Belgian waffle, breakfast potatoes, and vegan sausage patties, and we were so blown away by how well-crafted, delicious, and savory everything tasted. The Breakfast Spot is definitely a 10/10 recommendation on our list! ”
“ Definitely a chill spot . Great old school music . Very nice staff and the food portion was just right . The fact they have REAL turkey bacon and not that butterball crap is the ultimate reason why I wrote this review . Check it out if you’re in town !! I’ll be back when I visit Gate City . ”
“ Everything is a 10/10. My new breakfast spot. It was one thing though, we ordered the peach cobbler French toast. Instead we got cinnamon apples and when we asked about it, we were told that it was indeed peaches. It was good either way but I would prefer what I ordered instead of given something completely different and gaslit about it. We spent about 63. Menu is a la carte but also has dishes that you can substitute ”
“ Definitely good food and good vibes. I’ve been several times and absolutely love everything but my favorite is the Emma platter. The salmon croquettes are amazing. They have board games to play while you wait for your food, customer service was great and we didn’t wait at all for our food even though they were busy. Highly recommend! ”
